Description
Perfumed with decadent golden peach, jasmine and nougat, this specially selected Gisborne Chardonnay is immediately seductive. Mirrored on the silken palate, ripest peach and rich macadamia with a touch of honeyed cream delight the senses. The elegant palate is lingering and fulfilling
Winemaker: Anita Ewart-Croy
Selected from the very best parcels of expertly nurtured Chardonnay, the fruit for this wine was harvested in the cool of the day and delivered immediately to the winery for processing. The gentle press cycle ensures maximum fruit expression without bitterness and after slight clarification the bright juice was transferred to a selection of French, Hungarian and American oak for fermentation. A portion of indigenous yeast as well as select Chardonnay yeast elevate the flavours of stone fruit, careful temperature control nurtures delicate blossom aromas, while dedicated lees stirring creates palate texture and integration. Malolactic fermentation adds creamy nutty notes and silky edges. Only the best barrels of the group were then united to become the celebration of TW friendship.
