Wonderfully complex and seamless, this wine is a true reflection of unified fruit and oak as well as the unified teamwork of very good friends.

Selected from the very best parcels of expertly nurtured Chardonnay, the fruit for this wine was harvested in the cool of the sunrise and delivered immediately to the winery for processing. A gentle press cycle ensured maximum fruit expression without bitterness, and after slight clarification, the bright juice was transferred to a selection of French, Hungarian and American oak for fermentation. A portion of indigenous yeast and select Chardonnay yeast elevate the flavours of stone fruit, and careful temperature control nurtures delicate blossom aroma. At the same time, dedicated lees stirring creates palate texture and integration. Malolactic fermentation adds creamy nutty notes and silky edges. Only the best barrels of the group were then united to become the celebration of TW’s friendship.

The elegant richness of this Chardonnay will pair perfectly with duck, fish, and chicken dishes, as well as decadent shellfish. Scallops and chorizo would sing – or enjoy with your favourite cheese and antipasti.

Drinking wonderfully now but will develop further elegance in the next five to eight years.
